Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Sydney, I moved to London with the ambition of working in the creative industries. With a career spanning the music and entertainment industries, my aim has always been to help bring a creative idea to life by managing and influencing the financial aspects of the business and investment.

Publishing is a new area for me, however my experience has enabled me to quickly embrace the spirit of Transworld?and PRH, which I am excited to be a part of. Always up for a commercial challenge, I am involved with the everyday cash flow management as well as forward planning and evaluation of new book proposals that the?Transworld?team undertake.

It is both challenging and rewarding to work with a team responsible for such a varied repertoire of publications, which makes the role so interesting as each day brings something new.

A book that left a deep impression on me:?I read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho during a time when I was making career and life decisions. It inspired me to follow my instincts and?realise?that only I could make my own path.

Literary hero: is definitely Nick Cave. A fellow Australian, he is a true creative being an accomplished composer, singer/songwriter and author. His books and lyrics are both poetically dark and challenging – something I truly admire and treasure.

A book I’d recommend to everyone:?The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins. As a daily train commuter, I could really relate to this book and how easy it is to imagine what life is like on the other side of the fence.
